Residential Renovation,

An ambitious restoration of a high victorian home in Walthamstow. Transforming an unloved house from the 19th century, an era of signficant change, meant this house underwent an evolution of styles throughout it’s life so far. Our challenge was to create symbiosis between historical and architectural elements, bringing the home into this current day with modern amenities without stripping out an inch of character.

Repairing original features to breathe life back into an 1860’s period property

Natural insulation system used internally on external facing walls combined with lime plaster to maintain breathability.

Upgraded timber sash windows and doors that reference the colour variation found within London stock bricks.

Images illustrating the orginal condition of the house.
